TRACE International's "How to Pay a Bribe: Editorial Contest"
TRACE International, Inc., the global anti-bribery business association, is accepting submissions for its next edition of How to Pay a Bribe — the biennial collection of stories exposing real-world bribery schemes in the international business context. (Names and other identifying details may be changed, if prudent.) Entries must not exceed 3,500 words and must be original, unpublished work, submitted by June 30, 2015.
Submission guidelines include:
- Language should be simple and direct.
- The editors appreciate well written anecdotes and narratives over academic-style writing (footnotes should be avoided).
- Contributions should reveal the real-world methods used to pay and conceal bribes in corporate, international business.
- Up to five entries will be selected for publication and the authors will receive $2,000 each in compensation.
To enter the contest, please e-mail your essay and all author information (full name, e-mail address and phone number of all authors) to HowToPayABribe@TRACEinternational.org. Essays must be submitted as attachments in either DOC or PDF format. No other format will be accepted.
