National System for Electronic Data Exchange for Social Security Integrity Pact
TI-Bulgaria served as independent monitor for the tender selection process of three consultants to help create a national system for electronic data exchange for social security information. This IP was one of three pilot IPs as part of the "Increasing Integrity through Advocacy: Counteracting Corruption in Public Contracting" project funded by the Siemens Integrity Initiative Second Funding Round. Given that it was voluntary for the private sector bidders and contractors to accede to the IP, this IP is significant in that all three selected contractors chose to do so, signifying a high standard of integrity in this tender process.
